Since I haven’t made much beer lately, (I did remedy that though), wine has become a great substitute (in moderation). On a recent Uber ride, one of my riders and I were talking about wine. She had mentioned in passing that, “If you like white wine you really don’t know much about wine.” I almost took this as an insult, because I do like white wine, I took it as a challenge. Challenge Accepted While I haven’t done much research on all the different types of wines, I have expanded my pallet my going to the other side of the aisle to the red blends aisle, merlots and more. There really is so many different types of reds and white. Its almost mind blowing how many different types of wines there are versus the types of beers that there are. In order to try as many different wines, I recently partnered with Winc Wine Club and they didn’t disappoint. The process is very simple. Head to Winc.com and get started with their wine pallet quiz that will help you pick wines according to foods and drink you already like. I did it and it was completely on point. What is really great is if you don’t like the ones that the quiz picks for you, you can still shop their entire selection. Once the wine got here, I was very impressed with the wine box shipper. Everything was tightly secured and nothing was broken or damaged. I’m going to try and keep this box and shipper in great condition so I can transport my wine safely when we go to parties, vacation and more. My selection includes a Funk Zone White Blend, Rosa Obscura Red Blend, Brethren of the Road Riesling, Summer Water Rosé, and a White Zinfandel. Obviously I don’t know much about wines, but sticking with my thoughts about expanding my pallet I chose these to help me out. I think I’m most excited to try the Rosa Obscura Red Blend.
